1. Histamine Is a Messenger, Not the Enemy. It’s the body’s way of saying, “I’m overloaded.” The solution isn’t suppression; it’s restoring capacity.
2. The Gut Is Ground Zero. DAO is produced in the intestinal lining. If the gut is inflamed, histamine will always be a problem. Gut repair must come first.
3. Hormones & Histamine Dance Together. Women often see cyclical flare-ups. Stabilizing progesterone naturally and supporting liver detoxification can dramatically calm histamine activity.
4. Stress Is the Silent Amplifier. Every stressor — emotional, chemical, or environmental — pours gasoline on the histamine fire. Nervous-system regulation is non-negotiable.
5. Reintroduction Is the True Healing Test. Once the system calms, the goal is to expand food tolerance, rather than living in fear of histamine forever.
